I have been a Batman fan since I was 4 years old. I first saw Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) film and I was hooked on the story, the style, the actors, the costumes and my favorite, the merchandise.

Tim Burton’s Batman Returns (1992) was even more amazing with better sets, an amazing plot and the products, omg where do I start? I mean, I even had the official movie card collection for this movie.

I have always been intrigued with the comics and the graphic novels as well. I love that each one is unique and tell it’s own story.

My favorite actor to portray the Dark Knight has to be Michael Keaton. He brought the Dark Knight to its true nature, the mysterious, smart, the struggle with the loss of his parents and his own dark side.

With the news of Robert Pattinson taking on the role, I have to admit, I’m apprehensive. I don’t know much of Robert, only from the “Twilight films”, so I can’t judge him on his acting. I am curious to see what he will bring to the character. The other actors who have taken on the role, personally I haven’t liked any of them.

Only time will tell what’s the outcome. I only pray they do Batman justice. He’s such an amazing superhero without the powers, from his wealth to his intelligence to his strength.
