Hey Phillytainers! We have a treat for you. One of our supporters and followers on Instagram is currently a Writer and a Producer of this cool short film called Center City.

The film is filmed on location in our beautiful city of Philadelphia and is about A Woman who comes to Philadelphia and finds beauty in the great city of Philadelphia, little does she know, the dark complexities of her job will lead to another acquired taste.

Our Review

The Short Film Center City is about a Woman who comes to Center City Philadelphia for business and falls in love with the beauty and elegance the city has to offer.

Center City does a great job not only showing the breath-taking sights at night but also shows us some of Philly’s top tourist destinations such as Independence Hall and the famous Art Museum.

The Noir black and white color add to the dark setting that unravels the plot of the film and shows the dark side of Philly. It also keeps the audience entertained and thrilled. There were quite a few shocking moments that you won’t see coming, which kept us on edge.

The characters do a great job with their objectives. It is RECOMMENDED to watch The Woman’s video first before watching Center City so that you can connect with Jenny Moon’s character and why she does what she does. Butch and The Driver’s videos take place after the events of Center City. (We attached the other videos below) The videos g gives us key points leading up to the major film Center City and gives us more details about the plot that’s leading up to the sequel.

In conclusion, Center City is a great short film that keeps us entertained with likable characters and we look forward to seeing the sequel that is in currently in the works. Our verdict would be 8.5 out of 10.
