Who is Prettyvngthng?
Prettyvngthng is a Jersey girl who grew up a cinephile and loves movies and celebrities. She earned a digital filmmaking and multimedia degree and has worked on a few movie sets from Secret Window (2004) with Johnny Depp and local PA native Maria Bello to You, Me and Dupree (2006) starring Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson and Matt Dillion!
We decided to ask her a few questions to get to know her and her love for the entertainment industry.

Question 1
Who is your favorite actor and why?
Jack Nicholson because his career is basically my dream. He is from Jersey too and had set off to California to be a Director but instead, he became the actor we all know and love now.
Question 2
What’s your favorite film with Mr. Nicholson?
There are so many that I love. I can’t pick between Who Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (1975) and As Good As It Gets (1997).
Question 3
Who is your favorite actress and why?
Angelina Jolie without a doubt. I love her so much that I even named my daughter after her! I really loved her performance in Girl, Interrupted (1999), which is funny because the film is sort of like a female version of Who Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (1975). She is a good actress, I guess it’s the genes from her parents! And her philanthropy work with UNICEF. It’s very admirable.

Who is your favorite singer and why?
The King of Pop himself Michael Jackson. I loved him since I was 4. His musical craft of singing, dancing, and songwriting are genius!

What is your favorite song by the King of Pop?
Ohhh that’s a tough one! There are so many to choose from, but I would have to pick from his Dangerous Album (1991) called Who Is It.

What is your all-time favorite TV shows?
I’m really Old School, Saved By The Bell (1989 to 1993) and currently American Horror Story (2011 to present).

Who is your favorite Superhero and why?
Oh that’s easy, Batman because I read a lot of the graphic novels and I love how he doesn’t have superpowers, but used what he has which is money and intelligence.

Who is your favorite super villain and why?
I would have to choose the Joker played by Jack Nicholson in Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) because he said one of my most favorite quotes of all time, “Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?”

What is your favorite film genre?
I would have to pick Suspense or Horror and even Mystery as well. But I am a film-buff wholeheartedly and enjoy all!

Of all the villains Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Leatherface or Ghostface, which one is the most scarier and why?
Freddy most definitely. Why? Because Wes Craven got the idea for nightmares from newspaper articles about a few Asians having sleep disorders, some which died. It’s fascinating that something based on real-life put into imagination for films. It’s just very interesting how he (Freddy) comes from your fears and in your dreams. No offense to the other dudes, but running or slowly chasing and hacking people to death is so boring and such a cliche.

Who is your favorite celebrity of all time?
I do not have a favorite celebrity of all time. Too many to pick.

What is the significance of the name Prettyyvngthng?
It was just a name I came up with. Derived from P.Y.T. or Pretty Young Thing. I just really liked the name.

I enjoy all of their posts and love how I get to catch up on certain topics in entertainment.
