Hello Phillytainers! We have reached yet another milestone in Phillytainment’s history. July 10th, 2019, is our One Year Anniversary! We know, we can’t hold it in either!

HISTORY

On July 10th, 2018, Phillytainment was created by a part-time, writer ‘The Don’ and a former and experienced Hollywood agent ‘Kimber Lee’ who wanted to help share and spread entertainment news and insight to the people of Philadelphia and the world.

Formerly called Five Oh Entertainments (Our Facebook Name still). We wanted to change the name because we love this city so much and that there have been great celebrities from this city to honor. With its rich history, Philadelphia is a place that has many things to offer everyone. Phillytainment was a fan favorite name that was voted in by awesome fans like you. Due to Facebook issues, we are unfortunately unable to change the name to Phillytainment.

Achievements

Started out as an Instagram page, Phillytainment grew to outstanding heights. From a small page on Instagram to building our very own website to blog about the entertainment industry.

We were able to grow successfully as an entertainment business, by adding a great movie reviewer Prettyyvngthng to our awesome team. She quickly became a great hit with moviegoers who loved to read her short and sweet movie reviews!

We have also created an awesome logo that will now be the face of Phillytainment.

We have also received several celebrity likes on Instagram, which helped Phillytainment’s popularity. From Elizabeth Hurley to Shahadi Wright Joseph. We are thankful that we received a few. Check them out below!

THE FUTURE

We have had a very strong and interesting year. We have exceeded our expectations and we are so blessed to be able to see one year!We are proud to have gotten to where we are and are thankful to our loyal fans. We will continue to strive and explore other opportunities as we grow.
