Hey Phillytainers! We are back with another exciting interview. In this post, we are proud to have interviewed a local actress right here in Philadelphia. Jenny Moon is an actress who currently stars in numerous short films and works with Strange Films (Read Frank Aguilar’s Interview). She is most notable for her role as The Woman in Center City. Check out her interview!

What’s your name and how long have you been in the film industry?
My name is Jenny Moon and I have been in the film industry for 3 years.
What do you currently do within the industry?
I am currently an actress.
How many films have you been in so far?
4 films. Center City, The Woman, The Driver and Center City 2 that’s currently in production.
What originally got you interested in acting?
I’m a huge horror fan and a long-time friend of Franks (Frank Aguilar). It’s also a pleasure to play a female killer.
Is acting your 24/7 career or is it a hobby?
Acting is more of a hobby to me. It comes in handy since I’m a bartender.
What do you want to achieve within Strange Films?
I hope the best for Strange Films, but personally, I’d be happy to work behind the scenes.
Behind the scenes, like directing or producing films?
Behind the scenes assisting with just about everything. Basically Frank’s right hand.
What do you want to achieve within the film industry?
Just to get the experience, thrill and the action.
Did you have someone in the film industry that gave you inspiration? If so, who and what did they do to influence you?
I can’t say anyone specifically inspired me, but I dig Dyanne Thorne, Sigourney Weaver, and Natasha Lyonne.
What’s your favorite movie of all time?
Very hard to pick just one, but I’m gonna go with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Okay, what about a genre to make it easier, I’m guessing horror?
ABSOLUTELY. Any horror/cult classics.
Do you have a favorite actor/actress and why?
I don’t have a favorite actor/actress, but my favorite character is the animated Aeon Flux because she is what’s hot and dangerous to me.
Where do you see yourself in the film industry?
I see myself wherever the film industry takes me, but again, I’d like to be behind the scenes.
And lastly, do you have any advice for people who wants to enter the entertainment field?
My advice would be to do what you love and be yourself. Oh and practice makes perfect.
